Here at The First Hello, we have always been passionate about documenting the raw, real life moments of humanity. We wanted to bring something beautiful to the table during this incredibly unparalleled season.
As birth photographers it’s currently challenging to be allowed into birth suites. It‘s heartbreaking to speak to our heavily pregnant clients who can no longer bring their family members, let alone a photographer, into their birth suites — so we knew we had to find a new story to tell. We didn’t want to stop celebrating humanity.
Life across the world is a bit of a paradox at the moment. The heaviness of the crisis, the joy of the children unaware... the required confinement, and YET, the sweet togetherness... we couldn’t help but want to draw attention to the beauty amongst the ashes.
This is an iconic moment. This is history in the making.
